Batch & watch folders

Process lots of material at once, or have VoxStudio handle new files as they arrive.

Speak many

1. Open Batch → Speak many.
2. Paste your texts: one per line, or separate longer passages with a blank line. You can also Add .txt files.
3. Choose an engine and a voice.
4. Optionally click Save files to a folder… to get a WAV file per item there.
5. Click Speak.

Every item appears in Recent batches with overall progress, and individually in Activity. Everything you make is also kept in History.

Transcribe many

1. Open Batch → Transcribe many and click Choose files… to pick recordings or videos.
2. Choose what to write: TXT, SRT, VTT and/or JSON.
3. Optionally choose a folder for the files, then click Transcribe.

Transcripts also appear in Transcribe.

Watch folders

Let a folder do the work: drop a file in, and the result appears next to it.

1. Open Batch → Watch folders.
2. Choose Speak text files (and a voice) or Transcribe recordings.
3. Click Watch a folder… and pick a folder.

From then on, new files are handled automatically, and the results appear in a VoxStudio output folder inside it. Each card shows the latest files and whether they finished (✓) or had a problem (⚠).

• Use the switch to pause a folder, and 🗑 to stop watching it.
• Files are only picked up once they've finished copying, and each file is handled just once.

Tip: watch a synced folder (iCloud Drive, Dropbox) to send scripts from your phone and have audio ready when you're back at your Mac.
