Collections & tags

Tags work the same way everywhere: on voices, takes and projects. A collection is everything that shares a tag. Use one for a show (#podcast), a book (#book-2), a client or a campaign.

Tag things

• Voices: open a voice in Voices and add tags under its details.
• Takes: in History, hover over a take and click #. Type a tag and press Return; suggestions come from tags you already use.
• Projects: open a project and click # next to its name.

Tags are lower-case, up to 24 characters, with up to 12 per item. Podcast and podcast are the same tag.

Browse collections

Open Collections in the sidebar. Each tag is listed with how many items it has. Pick one to see its voices (with a button to use the voice in Studio), takes (playable) and projects, all together.

• Rename changes the tag on every voice, take and project at once. Renaming onto an existing tag merges the two.
• Remove takes the tag off everything. The items themselves are kept.

In History, the All tags menu filters takes by tag, and clicking a tag chip on a take does the same.
