History

Every take you generate, from Home, Studio, Clone, Design or the API, is kept in History.

Find a take

• Search by what was said.
• All / Starred shows everything or just your favourites.
• All engines filters to one engine.

Takes are grouped by day (Today, Yesterday, weekdays, then dates). Scroll down and older takes load automatically.

Work with a take

Each row shows what was said, the voice, the engine, the time and the length. Hover to reveal:

• ☆ star it. Starred takes are never deleted automatically.
• ⤓ save it as a WAV file.
• 🗑 delete it.

Press ▶ to play, or click the waveform to jump to a point.

Tidy up several at once

1. Click Select.
2. Click takes to tick them, or use Select all.
3. Click Delete in the bar at the bottom.

The header shows how many takes you have and how much disk space they use.

Recent takes, from anywhere

Click the panel button at the top right of any page to open Recent takes, your last 12. Click one to play it, or All → to open History.

Keep history tidy automatically

Go to Settings → History → Keep takes and choose Forever, 90 days, 30 days or 7 days. Older takes are deleted automatically. Starred takes are always kept, so star anything you want to keep.
